Indiana School Counselor Association

Upcoming events

Welcome to the Indiana School Counselor Association!

The mission of the Indiana School Counselor Association is to support school counselors as they advance the academic, career, and social/emotional development of all students.

On behalf of ISCA, we would like to thank each and every one of you for attending this year’s conference! As you all know, this year’s conference was the largest conference to date! This is very exciting for ISCA and school counselors across our state. We hope you gained valuable information and enjoyed your time while at conference.

We do know the growth in registration, the busy session rooms, and addition of the evening reception provided us with opportunities in which we appreciate your flexibility. This also creates exciting opportunity for growth when we look to planning our 2018 ISCA Fall Conference. If you are interested in helping plan next year’s conference please reach out to Kate Jones at

Below is the link to the session surveys. It is never too late to complete the survey and share your feedback about this year’s conference. This information will be reviewed by ISCA and help to plan for future conferences.

Please click HERE to access handouts that were provided to ISCA by presenters.

Again, we would like to thank you for attending conference!

Congratulations to all School Counselor of the Year state representatives, especially our own representative, Stephanie Kozuch!

The representatives enjoyed a wonderful week in Washington D.C. in early January and spent time advocating on behalf of all school counselors. Below are some of the highlights of the School Counselor of the Year celebration.

Thank you to our Past President, Sarah Altman, for a successful year as our 2015-2016 ISCA President! Many things were accomplished including many legislative items. Click here to read all about Sarah's year in office.

Fall 2017

Indiana License Plates

The Indiana Department of Education has had a specialty license plate for about twenty years... but not everyone knows how to order one or who benefits from the money raised by the sales of the plates.

Twenty-five percent (25%) of the money goes to the Department of Education to administer the school intervention and career counseling development program which funds grants for hiring new elementary school counselors.
