Caring for the Counselor: How to Create More Pause for YOU!

Presenter: Lisa Bayless      www.lisabaylis.com

September 16th from 3pm - 4:30pm EST.

This workshop helps school counselors understand why mindfulness and self-compassion are the fundamental first steps in helping to bring intentional presence back into any area of our classroom, school or personal life. Whether you’re a new school counselor or an experienced school counselor you will understand why our personal practices will create a ripple of wellbeing around us. This webinar will help you learn to create more pause for you!

School Counselors have the highest risk of burnout than any other occupation in the world. Lisa’s workshops refine habits and strategies to put wellbeing first.

  • Are you feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and weary?
  • Do you find yourself counting the days to every long weekend, holiday or break in your very busy week?
  • When is the last time you gave yourself permission to pause and ask, “What can I do to truly care for myself at this moment?”

Participants will:

  • Understand mindfulness and self-compassion as conceptual theories
  • Practice meeting the struggles you face with self-compassion
  • Recognize the importance and skills of self-regulation to build positive culture and relationships within your school.
